Vote Obama or I'll eat a bug

My wife is so brave, she just scooped this little critter up with her finger and held it there.  It was like a living booger on the end of her pointer finger.  

In close for a macro shot.  He was nothing but salt and slime and a glimmer of that electric spasmodic thing called life.  I nicknamed him Salty the Slimy Slug.

Then she was all like, "If you don't promise right now to vote for Barack Obama, I will eat this bug!"

Escargot tartare anyone? I was like, "Eat the bug then."

It was a really little slug thing. See her fingerprints magnified in the photo?  Actually, he was put back under whatever rock he came from.
