The video above came from the Peninsula Dog Fancier's Club (PDFC) Responsible Pet Ownership Days held at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds in Bremerton, Washingotn, on September 4, 2010.  I've been to a number of dog events, parades, competitions, but this one just had a great old time feel  AND IT INCLUDED A WEINER DOG RACE!  By "old time feel" I mean all the good old stuff -- herding demonstrations, military dogs from Naval Base Kitsap, 4-H, canine freestyle, purebreds, mutts and, of course, a dog costume contest.  The members of the Washington Owners of Flying Disc Dogs performed canine disc.  It was a great event.
