Kess the canine cancer survivor parties down at the 2012 Mutt March in Everett, Washington. The event was a fundraiser for Chasing Away Canine Cancer and a local food bank. Kess had terrible problems with her leg and lost it to cancer. But more than anything Kess shows that it can be well worth the cost of treatment, especially when your canine friend makes an almost total recovery and can play and run and have fun again.
The other part of this event was a training session for the Puget Sound Dock Dogs. They ran a really good training event. I was impressed with them, they had something happening in the dock dog area all day long and were talking about coming back again for Sunday (June 4, 2012). This event was in Everett, Washington, about 20 miles north of Seattle.
